The goal of the the Center for Training, Technology & Incubation Extended University is to attract students coming from a diverse population in terms of age, flexible schedules ,and future orientation.
The building is located at the fringes of the University campus along Temple Avenue, a major urban thoroughfare connecting the cities of Covina and Pomona.
The complex design addresses several distinct uses, most of them acting as liassons between academic and community activities. The presence of a popular café and its connection with an adjacent US Postal Service are celebrations a large community open space, designed as central courtyard, where all the academic and community uses conveyed and interact.
